The conductors are insulated with Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE), renowned for its excellent thermal stability, high dielectric strength, and resistance to ageing. The overall assembly is protected by a robust Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) sheath, offering durability, moisture resistance, and protection against mechanical stress, chemicals, and sunlight (within specified limits). This cable complies with the Chinese National Standard GB/T 12706.1 (Equivalent to IEC 60502-1).
