MV-105 Medium Voltage Cable Product Details

MV-105 is a medium-voltage cable designed for industrial and commercial power distribution, compliant with UL 1072 and ICEA S-93-639/NEMA WC74. It features high-temperature resistance, durability, and flexibility, making it suitable for harsh environments such as power plants, wind farms, mining, and direct burial applications.

Key Features

  • Voltage Rating: 5 kV to 46 kV (standard models: 8.7/15 kV, 15 kV, 25 kV).

  • Temperature Resistance:

    • Normal Operation: Up to 105°C (conductor temperature).

    • Emergency Overload: 140°C (max 36 hours).

            Short Circuit: 250°C (5 seconds max).
 

Construction:

  • Conductor: Compressed stranded copper (ASTM B3/B8) or aluminum (ASTM B400), Class B14.

  • Insulation: Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR) or Thermoset Cross-Linked Polyethylene (TR-XLPE) with 100% or 133% insulation level38.

  • Shielding: Copper tape (helically wrapped with 25% overlap) or concentric neutral wires18.

      Jacket: Sunlight-resistant PVC, CPE, or LSZH-TP for flame retardancy and environmental protection.
